Jokes, Laughter, Mayhem and More: The 2nd Magners International Comedy Festival 2015
Hong Kong, Manila and Singapore

The Magners International Comedy Festival 2015, Asia’s largest comedy festival, makes a welcome return in Singapore and now spreading its hilarious high further by making a stop in Hong Kong and the Philippines. Set to feature some of the best regional and international talent, this event will showcase 30 wittiest, snarkiest, and funniest comedians across 130 shows at 9 venues over 3 nights.

Taking place from March 19 to 21 at venues in Boat Quay and Clarke Quay -- which Actors the Jam Bar is one of them, the Magners International Comedy Festival 2015 will surely thrill laughter-loving comedy seekers across Singapore's iconic quay.

Laugh away with John Robertson (USA) as he graces Asia with his “The Dark Room” performance, where he introduces an interesting concept of performing in complete darkness! Be sure not to miss the world’s smallest comedian, Imaan Hadchiti (AUS / LBN) who may be small in physique but super-sized in humour. Mr Al Lubel, used to be a lawyer, so you know he has the gift of the gab – be sure to check out his distinct and unparalleled sense of wit. Performing exclusively in Singapore, come witness the hilarity of award winning and critically acclaimed female comedian Shazia Mirza (UK), who amuses with her acute and shocking brand of humour.

Come and prepare to laugh yourself silly! Get your tickets now!

Not many bars in Singapore let tone-deaf punters get onstage and sing with the house band - but here, you can sing up to three songs in a row before they drag you off. You can even borrow the band's guitar or drums and show off your hours of Rock Band training. It's a KTV addict's fantasy (or a nightmare for someone with a migraine) and overall, a pretty hysterical way to spend a night out with friends. The bar itself isn't the most glamorous joint in town, but that's its charm; you share it with aunties and uncles, wannabe rockers and students. You can also buy a bottle of spirits, tag it, leave it at the bar and enjoy it whenever you come back.
